This practice focuses on the third chakra which is about power. The goal is to be skillful in applying its power; bringing just the right amount of energy to handle a situation.
Exercises using the psoas muscle (the only muscle bridging the upper and lower body) as a link to the autonomic nervous system to manage the stress response.
A 40 minute series of short exercises to warm the body up. Two of the exercises use breath of fire. Breath of fire is used to balance the nervous system and to clear toxins from the system.
The twisting and bending movements of these three simple exercises bring blood flow to the bowel system, which is important in eliminating toxins from your body.
Your lymph system has no pump of its own and these short exercises (2-5 minutes) help move blood, lymph and prana (energy) through your entire system. (Practice begins at 2:22)
*Research (NIH) suggests that systematic movement of natural neurophysiological tremors may mitigate excess stress.
These seven short exercises increase blood flow to the brain and stimulate the pituitary gland, the master gland of the body. The pituitary gland is a small pea-sized endocrine gland located deep inside the brain in line with the top of your nose. It is also called the third eye, or the sixth chakra (Agni) and is known as the seat of intuition or clear seeing.
Do you sometimes feel an underlying sense of tension but you’re not sure why? This kundalini yoga class uses shaking as a natural, self-regulating mechanism used to release physical and emotional stress that may have accumulated in the body that could be harmful if it stayed in the body. (Practice begins at 1:50)
Meridians are passageways through which life energy flows throughout the body. This series of exercises work the meridians and also challenges how the left and right hemispheres of the brain interprets commands. (Practice begins at 0:28)
A 30-minute practice for the lymphatic system. The lymphatic system has no pump (like the heart) so these exercises use movements where there are a significant number of lymph nodes. Muscular movements and movement of breath are beneficial in removing excess fluid and waste from body tissues and organs.
(Practice begins at 2:24.)
Four simple exercises for a re-birthing experience. "The benefits of re-birthing: 1) clears fear deposits gained in first 11 years of life. 2) creates a moment of stillness where you implant a single new profile of yourself for your own mind to serve. 3) changes your glandular rhythms back to alignment with the natural biorhythm of life." (KRI) (Practice begins at 2:08)
Research from Washington University (2024) determined that cerebral spinal fluid (CSF) pulses are closely tied with brain wave activity and blood flow activity that helps flush toxic, memory-impairing proteins from the brain.
CSF flow is affected by movement, breath and heartbeat. Practice these three simple exercises to affect CSF flow.
According to research from various Universities there is a possibility of delaying or even preventing neurological diseases such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson
Where in our body did the ancient yogis believe
we store our life force (prana) energy? Learn how to activate your life force reserves to increase your energy in four simple steps. (Exercise begins at 2:15)
In these yoga classes, you will learn there are five Vayus (motions of energy) that are housed in the body. The two most important are prana (taking in) and apana (eliminating). This exercise will help determine how balanced your life is. (Exercise begins at 6:29)
When prana and apana are balanced you are free to live your life in the way that is best for you. What you take in (prana) and eliminate (apana) work together for your highest good. Enjoy these yoga classes. (Exercise begins at 2:58)
Practice this exercise for 30 days and see the results.
